We're looking for a talented founding engineer to join our team and take ownership of our technical development.
As a key member of the founding team, you'll work directly with the founders to shape product direction and lead our technical strategy. Your focus will be on building and scaling our existing data processing and modelling capabilities while developing user-friendly interfaces that make climate risk assessment accessible and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and scale geospatial and climate data processing pipelines (Python, GIS libraries)
- Refine user-facing interfaces and export features (Next.js, React)
- Lead overall product architecture and infrastructure planning
Core Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python for geospatial/environmental data processing
- Strong frontend development skills
- Experience in database management (PostgreSQL/PostGIS preferred)
Bonus points:
- Financial modelling experience, particularly around risk assessment or insurance applications
- Knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic modelling approaches
- Experience with cloud development, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (Azure or AWS, both applicable)

We’re developing technology to help insurers and property investors manage climate risk across their property portfolios. Following the development of our MVP with industry support and funding, we are now preparing our pre-seed raise for later this year and seeking a technical talent to join our founding team and help us deliver pilot projects.
