To date, our CEO has personally closed every one of our 80+ customer deals. Now, we're looking for someone to take that torch and help shape the future of our Commercial function and global GTM strategy. As our Founding GTM, you'll play a critical role in building the sales engine and operational processes that will drive our next phase of growth. But this is also a hands-on closing role from day one, with significant opportunity for rapid career progression as we scale internationally.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with the CEO to define market segments, carve out ICP definition, and build a strategy to get us to $3m in ARR by the end of 2025
- Manage a high-volume of sales cycles simultaneously, all the way from prospecting to demo and closing
- Generate pipeline by any means possible, that means hitting the phones, getting creative, and leveraging the support of the best cold outbound platform on the market!
- Identify key-stakeholders within target organisations and guide them through a rapid sales cycle to ensure a constant flow of new business
- Actually close deals (this is sales after all, and you will have an ambitious target to hit)
- Work on our US market expansion. 40% of our customer base is already in the US, and we want that number to grow (this might mean some travel and long hours)
- Forge strong alliances with cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Product/Engineering to ensure the continued success of our customers, and advancement of the product
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of Sales or BD experience, preferably in SaaS and with fast sales cycles, engaging non-technical stakeholders
- Someone passionate about the process of being an effective salesperson - bonus points if you’ve already leveraged LinkedIn to grow a personal brand
- Ambition to progress and a hunger for closing deals; we are building out a Founding team and that means you’ll need to get your hands dirty in a range of things, but fundamentally, remain laser focussed on closing new business!
- You’re self-driven, highly entrepreneurial with a passion for experimenting and iterating on new ideas to find what works.
- You can navigate ambiguity confidently, making quick, informed decisions and adjusting as the company evolves. We want people who are smart, can prove it, and learn and adapt fast.
- You are knowledgeable about and (or) interested in AI, and its applications - bonus if you’ve used AI for outbound or if you’re a whizz with the new wave of sales tech (Clay, Instantly, etc)
